Snow and Bennett's Birthday!

It's now December so you'd think we'd have a little snow to play in. Well, since mother nature isn't cooperating we are playing with our own fake snow!
Here is our "snow and ice table"

Complete with real ice, fake snow, animals and tractors
(can't find all our artic animals so pigs and cows will have to do!)

Painting "fluffy" snowflakes!

I think Josie likes glitter!

Another day of the snow and ice table!

Bennett wasn't feeling too good so Lane read him a story to feel better!

Bennett turned 2 years old!

Mmmm...

"Happy Cake-day, Bennett!"

Wow!  How do I tackle this frosting!?

What could it be...?

Whoa!  Batman!

I would have picked that up, but Bennett insisted he do it! :)

Checking out the lights!

And shooting the disks.
Too busy to even pose for the camera!
Such a cute smile!
Happy 2nd Birthday Bennett!

Crafts galore!

So before we show the crafts, some pictures of our Thanksgiving celebration!

It was one of the last nice days to get outside and play!

Crazy girl!
Bennett's FAVORITE outside activity... hauling corn!

Our "turkey" dinner!  :)

My Indian Boy excited that its not really turkey!

Digging in!

Whoa!  That is weird Mom!

No one wanted to make pilgrim hats... feathers are so much more fun!

Josie wore hers everywhere... even to the bathroom!

3 little Indian kids, sitting in a row!

Now on to Christmas crafts.... Josie covering her pinecone in glue.

"Shake, shake, shake... shake, shake your pinecone!"

Total control of the glue!  Awesome!

What girl doesn't like glitter!?  Adding just a little more!

Shake, shake, shake!

Squeeze!

So careful with the glitter!

Shake it like a Polaroid picture!

"Pretty"

Lane doesn't always approve of the crafts, but this one looked fun!

Decided to use ALL the glitter colors!
Hanging our pretty pinecones.

So sweet!

Practicing those fine motor skills while making bead candy canes.

They always surprise me with their determination!

Liked listening to the beads drop in the bowl more than anything!

Time to make "Iced" candles

Covering the cups with glue was sticky fun!

Rolling them in yummy smelling epsom salt...

Yea!  Its so pretty!

Sticky!

Making it "icy"
So pretty in the dark!
Here's another "surprise craft" that I can't show anyone... but look at the hard work!  ;)
A little early morning ABC practice to end the post!
Happy December!
